Audience Member I can't quite understand the extremely low rating this film has. Come on people, it's a cheesy 🧀 "sci-fi" / adventure from 1951. What are you expecting of this film ? I personally enjoyed it a lot. (And of course took it for what it was/is). It's an adventure about people who go "into" the Earth to find out if humanity could survive there (for X amount of time) -in case of an all-out nuclear war. I enjoyed it ! Why would you watch films about giant robots who can turn into cars, but scoff at the "scientific inaccuracies" in this one ?? I don't get that - at all❗ I recommend it (and be aware of when it was made, the state of the world in 1951.....) A certain amount of poetic license is understood in these movies but this mess takes so many liberties with geology and science it's embarrassing.
