Celia L softcore porn with basically no plot Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/31/24 Full Review Audience Member Softcore porn with practically no plot. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Low budget vampire film where the vampire boys are more into each other with a twilight feel. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member actors act worse than porn stars Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Technically awful movie, without any originality and the actors have no bite (though you shouldn't watch this for the acting anyway.) On the other hand, at just over an hour, it's a great party movie, and perfect for a drinking game. Anytime anyone says "The One" or the screen shoots to a panoramic view of L.A., take a shot. Oh, and it's also a love story, because, y'know, vampires deserve love too. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member I can't believe I actually watched this movie. It was mostly to qualm the feelings of dread after watching a real horror movie at 3 in the morning. But since I couldn't take this thing seriously, I'm not really gonna write a serious review. It actually embarrassed me to watch this. I mean, do the actors involved in this feel the least bit of remorse for signing onto a project like this? What if people they knew, like actually watched it. The whole time I was thinking, what did these people tell their friends when they were working on this movie? And were they going to share the finished product with them? If I were any of them, I wouldn't. I couldn't keep a straight face while watching 'Vampire Boys'--even the title is hilarious. It's campy for sure, but it doesn't even go into the realm of it's-so-bad-it's-good. It's just bad. I mean, someone actually took a bit of time to write a 69 minute movie. It really is 69 minutes. And it's plain to see that it's straight out from Twilight. But what's really funny are the goofs. There's a scene where two characters are having coffee, and the mug isn't filled and the guy is clearly not sipping on anything. How difficult is it to fill a guy's cup with coffee or some type of liquid? Was their budget really that miniscule? Another one where a character is READING HIS LINES OF HIS HANDS! I mean, I couldn't help but laugh and rewatch that part just to make sure I wasn't imagining it. It was only one line as well, even I still remember it "so tell me about you and your roommate", even if that wasn't it verbatim it is still the same thing. Acting was poor as well. But you can't really expect much from such a low budget movie. And when I say low budget, this thing looked like it was filmed on a 8 megapixel digital camera and edited on Windows Movie Maker. Also, it seemed like the actors did their work for free because they were all friends just dicking around with a camera. I wouldn't recommend anyone to subject themselves to this mess. But it did relieve the post-horror movie scares that I had, so it did achieve what I wanted it to achieve. So, as usual, I won't give a movie a 0, it gets a 1/10 because it made me laugh and allowed me to feel at ease after watching something that was an actual horror film. If you're looking for this type of movie, a total campfest to laugh at, then by all means watch it. I laughed a lot, but it was absolutely atrocious.
