Carla Renata The Curvy Film Critic We Are Columbine will remind you of what the best part of being American is all about. We are resilient. We are still here. We Are All Columbine. I hope that America never again has to offer "thoughts and prayers" to another family. Apr 8, 2019 Full Review Stephanie Archer Film Inquiry We Are Columbine gives an interesting and insightful perspective into the recovery these individuals went through, and where they came out on the end. Audience Member We Are Columbine takes a retrospective look at one of the most horrific school shootings in US history and thoughtfully examines the healing processes for students who were robbed of a normal high school experience. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member A documentary made by the popular kid who interviews her really cool, popular friends. Ironically, you kind of see why the shooters felt like outcasts around them. You have athletes saying how the athletes weren't bullies. Okay. Maybe interview kids who knew the shooters next time instead of the snooty cheerleader or Varsity captain. I'm sure that curly haired blonde girl was so accepting and kind to everyone in high school too. Like, yeaaah, I'm sure she was like, ya know, really nice to the other kids. It's so sad that it's been over two decades and most school staff has no idea how they contributed by turning a blind eye to the constant bullying, degrading and shame that leads so many kids to open fire. Instead, they just pass it off as rumor and lies. High School is tough and it's even tougher when you're not ‘The cool kid' and there's no school staff to regulate the ‘cool kids'. Oh Boo Hoo! We couldn't have a food fight!! Ask any kid who was bullied if they ever threw food at someone or had food thrown at them. It was kind of funny seeing the bullies upset that law enforcement was there to regulate their bullying because the school staff was useless. No, I wasn't bullied in high school. I did however, stick up for them when a bunch of clueless narcissists like this were around. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Facebook U Horrible doc. Noted popular people and no reason or psychology. Appreciate the survivors commentary but empty. Non informative Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 10/15/20 Full Review matt h I like the idea of this film. 4 kids who were there but no physical injuries but still the emotional scars are still there. It was shot well but I felt there was something lacking. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member This was the absolute worst. None of these people even had "real" experiences the day of the shooting. The only slightly redeeming bit of the film was the one guy peeing in a trash can when SWAT came in. The rest of them literally left the building almost directly after the commotion began. I'm not saying it wasn't a weird or hard day for them...but none of them were injured or threatened, or even around others that were. This was atrocious and 78 minutes I'll never get back. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Best seen with an audience in the theater. moved me to tears and yet incredibly hopeful!
