Victor T Barbara O'Neil steals the show. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/05/23 Full Review Audience Member Poor script. Movie starts off well and you expect to see the waitresses join the picket line and stand up for themselves, but instead Boyer comes in and takes Dunne to Long Island during a storm that turns into a hurricane (naturally). Dunne does not do well in this vehicle. Maybe she, too, is wondering if she should be on strike or if she should stop the hurricane. So the "love scenes" are not too lovely and Dunne fails at injecting any reality into this tired, run-down property. The New York Times review by Bosley Crowther has this one pegged accurately. Most movies -- statistically -- are not done well. This lemon fits right in. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Read all reviews
