Whether set in 1940s Los Angeles, the jungles of South America or the dangerous islands of the South Pacific, "Archer" is an animated comedy that spans time and place to navigate Sterling, Lana, Cheryl/Carol/Charlotte, Cyril, Pam, Ray and Krieger's misguided misadventures that range from attempting to save the world from nuclear disaster to selling illegal narcotics to Colombian cartels. What to Know

      Critics Consensus

A soft reboot helps keeps things fresh six seasons in, though its absurd delights are best enjoyed by those familiar with Archer's unique sensibilities.

Previous Sean Fitz-Gerald New York Magazine/Vulture Overall, this was a pretty great season finale 4/5 Mar 21, 2018 Full Review Inkoo Kang Village Voice Now that it's gotten its midlife crisis over and done with, Archer is moving out of its mistress's apartment and returning home to do right by its family again. 55/100 Feb 25, 2015 Full Review Caroline Framke AV Club Yes, there's plenty different about this "unreboot" even as it looks and sounds like Archer Classic. And while there's so much ground to cover, Archer still manages to stack jokes on top of rock solid vocal performances that bring it all to life. B+ Jan 9, 2015 Full Review William Evans Black Nerd Problems The reset button got hit, they're back on they're spy s**t and I think a few more episodes in, this will be back to being one of the best comedies on TV again. But this feels like the preseason right now. Jun 18, 2018 Full Review Alec Bojalad Den of Geek Archer is a fun show because the main character is fundamentally incapable of contemplating his own death. That's why it's both admirable and scary that season 6 of Archer has seemed so deadset on breaking [it]. 4/5 Mar 21, 2018 Full Review Ken Tucker Yahoo! TV It's been a very good season for Archer, which made the transition from ISIS to the CIA with lots of good laughs at the expense of the CIA. Apr 2, 2015 Full Review Read all reviews Next

Previous Mark-Anthony J It was okay, I guess Rated 2 out of 5 stars 11/09/22 Full Review Audience Member [⭐️80%] Archer's sixth season maintains a solid consistency in all episodes, with all of them being singular missions which all stand out as being unique. This acts a transitional season as it moves away from aspects of the past and moves towards the future, still maintaining the same characters who only grew from the transition. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Fantastic, loved it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Feels a little 'Been there, done that' in its gags, but it's more than made up for by seeing and realizing how far these ridiculous characters have come in their personalities and relationships with each other. While watching the first season I never would have guessed that, five seasons later, that the popular spy Archer and that annoying secretary Pam would ever become best friends. Also the animation has finally reached its peak quality, especially when compared to that of the first two seasons. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member You can never go wrong with Archer. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Excellent comedy. The entire cast is a talented set of voices and the artwork is entertaining. The relationships are constantly surprising and entertaining. A must watch for the mature adult who doesn't want to be too mature. Pam has become my favorite character by far. Her behavior is beyond comical, and reaches the realm of side burstingly hilarious. The cast is absolutely superb. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews Next Post a review
