Synopsis
What is everything? What is nothing? This two-part documentary follows host and professor Jim Al-Khalili as he searches for the answers to these deep and complex questions. In order to discover what "everything" is, Al-Khalili looks at what the universe might actually look like, and how human understanding of space has been influenced by math and science, while the concept of "nothing" is explored via the world of the super-small. As Al-Khalili discovers, these two ideas -- everything and nothing -- are connected in one very profound way: everything came from nothing.
