Synopsis
Popular celebrity chef Lidia Bastianich brings viewers on a road trip into the heart of Italian cooking in America. As she crosses the country, Bastianich learns about the diverse development of Italian-American culture by talking to fishermen, chefs, butchers, farmers, families and entrepreneurs. The series also explores the role food has played in creating the Italian-American identity by celebrating how Italian immigrants adapted the traditional cuisine of their homeland to fit their new home.
