I enjoyed the series. I actually signed up for Apple Tv plus just to watch it. I work with a lot of military and they kept talking about so I had to watch. All the characters are based on real life people and what they went through is incredible. I never knew about the bloody 100 and the only 23% survival rate. Get assigned to that group you have a much greater chance of dying than living. The friendship between Buck and Bucky was so strong and Austin Butler and Callum Turner did a great job of portraying the characters. I looked forward to each Friday turning out a new episode.

It's shockingly bad. I wanted to like it but there's practically nothing to like. The acting is ABYSMAL, the script gives me secondhand embarrassment, the visuals are like a budget indie from 2005, the characters are shallow and literally forgettable, and the storyline is repetitive and uninspiring. I'd give it no stars if I could. I would have been embarrassed to have my name associated with this sophomoric production. It would have been better had they not created the series at all. It's a blemish on the WWII genre. Rarely does a series or movie actually make me angry with how poorly done it is but this one has done it.

Good one, even though some moments are banal the overall impression is very good and the ending was terrific. No false heroism, war is shown in its dirt and tragedy. Highly recommended indeed.
