Dr. Ben Song, lead physicist of a top-secret government time-travel program known as Quantum Leap, makes an unauthorized leap into the past, awakening in a different body with only fragments of his memory intact. Guided by Addison, a colleague in the present day who appears to him as a hologram that only he can see and hear, he discovers the only way for him to leap again is to correct something in his host person's life. As Ben leaps from life to life, putting right what once went wrong, his team in the present tries to figure out why he leaped and bring him home.

Andre R Please, stop the massacre. Where is the humour, the charm and the simplicity of the first series ? Instead of the human scale small problems to solve, the episodes are often overdramatic big scale events. The first season one is overcomplicated, starts with a too big event that make the series painful to watch, in my opinion. It also includes a useless romance that doesn't add anything to the scenario and could have been replaced by another, simpler, explanation for Ben jumping in. The second series are better (the romance is aside), but still suffer scenario improbabilities and errors, mostly in the details, like most series today. The simple stories are now melodramatic, and again, the humour and the charm of the first series is missing. Instead of using special effects for big explosions, fires, missiles, etc, they could have been better, like removing shadows from the "so-called" hologram or ensuring it always appears as one. The Hannah character is interesting, more than the romance between the two heroes. Some characters from the first series could have been included, like Sammy Joe, to cite one. Finally, the series are full of scenario errors and improbabilities that make watching them painful when you know a little bit the situations described.
