John Anderson Wall Street Journal The information is fascinating, but the movement, the colors and the precision of the photography are exhilarating. Apr 18, 2024 Full Review Melissa Camacho Common Sense Media The colorful, beautiful, entertainingly informative series offers a unique chance to see a variety octopus species hunt, look for ways to hide, play, mate, and take care of their babies. May 22, 2024 Full Review Preston Barta Denton Record-Chronicle It's a must-watch for anyone who's curious about the wonders of the ocean and the incredible diversity of life it holds. May 4, 2024 Full Review Robin Holabird Robin Holabird A team of writers give Antman actor Paul Rudd clear observations to narrate in simple terms, including cultural touchstone phrases like “speed dating” to describe one form of octopus hookups. Apr 29, 2024 Full Review Michael Clark Epoch Times "Octopus" combines brains, brawn, body, heart, soul, humor and some of the most exquisite and breathtaking underwater (and aerial) photography I have ever seen. Although designed for the small screen, it practically begs for a full-tilt IMAX presentation. Rated: 4/5 Apr 22, 2024 Full Review Christopher Campbell Nonfics As it shows octopuses’ cognitive capabilities, as they link to traits of camouflage, mimicry, problem-solving, self-awareness, and more, you’ll find a new appreciation for these unique animals. Karen R Absolutely fascinating and a stunning piece of work. Episode 1 had me gobsmacked because I had no idea how diverse and clever octopuses are (or that both octopuses and octopi are correct- ha!). Must watch, and I’m telling everyone I know. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/05/24 Full Review Kirk J If you are young and/or never watch nature docs then I suppose you could learn something. But if you watch a LOT of them, then you may be disappointed. It has a LOT of repetitive content and some of it may be opinionated vs scientific. It should have been one episode. The only thing it has that others dont is mating which it claims is a first filmed in the wild. If you are into humans "bonding" with nature, you'll love it. ~JKJ Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 04/28/24 Full Review James C TOTALLY fascinating!
