Melissa Camacho Common Sense Media The unscripted relationship series makes an attempt at originality by shifting the focus from dating to building long-lasting romantic connections from late-night booty calls Jun 10, 2025 Full Review Liz Kocan Decider Sneaky Links feels familiar, combining elements of a lot of other shows we’ve already seen, but the contestants also seem genuine and they seem well-earned and it’s fun to watch them evolve. Dan B I think all of the cast who appeared on this show were very brave. It must take a lot to be so vulnerable and open. I really liked a lot of them. Angelique was such a really genuine person and deserved to be treated so much better. Nicole V reminded me a lot of many of the characters Eva Longoria has played on tv and film. She looked a bit like her and was equally as feisty and strong. She made it clear she was to be treated with respect. I think this was a more genuine reality show than most. Worth a watch. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 06/05/25 Full Review Sam S This show enables men to treat women however they want, with little to no consequences. For example, Colt manipulated and gaslighted two different women, pitting them against each other for almost the entire season — and faced virtually no accountability for it. Manny and several other men made derogatory comments about women, yet the hosts did nothing. Instead of stepping in or offering meaningful advice, they allowed the bad behavior to continue unchecked. Black cast members and other people of color were barely shown on screen. To make matters worse, the show even mixed up the names of two Black men in the captions — despite them looking nothing alike — showing a clear lack of care and attention. The hosts were particularly disappointing. They witnessed how the men mistreated the women and saw the emotional toll it was taking, but still chose not to intervene. They never pulled the women aside to offer support or warned them about toxic situations. As a result, the women were left to endure emotional and mental harm, only to look back on the show and see how much they were let down. Overall, the show reinforced harmful stereotypes — suggesting that men can behave however they want and that women are expected to tolerate it. It was not only boring but honestly disgusting to watch. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 05/29/25 Full Review Read all reviews
