David Barnett Independent (UK) With screenwriter Neil Biswas at the helm, we can safely say this series will fall at the grittier, more serious end of the superhero spectrum. Jul 23, 2018 Full Review Gerard O'Donovan Daily Telegraph (UK) James Nesbitt is rarely less than watchable and here he did a fine job of putting flesh on the bones of an otherwise two-dimensional character. Rated: 3/5 Jul 23, 2018 Full Review Louisa Mellor Den of Geek Stan Lee's Lucky Man to decide: is it mystical bracelets, super-powers, machetes and speedboats, or yet another (yawn) detective drama about a flawed hero drowning in stripper corpses? Steve Such a good concept at first but then like with every other show the writer's get lazy. I dont care what anyone says. I have no clue why they are going strike when they keep putting out garbage like this. My main gripe with most tv shows is the illogical plot armor to protect bad guys but then this show had a reason for it so it was great but then they just start randomly throwing it out the window because reasons. Season 2 pretty much ignored the bracelets rule of when good things happen bad things will too for pretty much both Harry and Isabella. Then season 3 just ignored that the bracelet is lucky and Blake (or whatever his name is) would have never caught him in the first place to make it unlucky. It's just such big plot holes that make the whole story unbelievable even in its own fictional world where the writer's set the rules that they then just start to ignore. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 08/09/23 Full Review Audience Member James Nesbit is top class. The plot gets a bit overwrought late in the season but it's a great show. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Different, quirky and really fun! Starting to love these shows with the British setting! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member An interesting idea, but spoilt by a plot that tumbled down over a cliff and sank to the bottom of the Hong Kong harbour. It was not helped by soul-less acting and unconvincing action. A few good efforts in the supporting cast, but really a disappointment. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
