This follow-up series to "Avatar: The Last Airbender" is set 70 years after the events of "Avatar" and follows Korra, the next Avatar after Aang, who is from the Southern Water Tribe. With earth, water and fire under her belt, Korra must master the art of airbending. Korra's quest leads her to Republic City, a virtual melting pot where benders and nonbenders live together. But she soon discovers that the land is plagued by crime and a growing antibending revolution that threatens to tear the city apart. While dealing with the dangers, Korra begins her airbending training under the tutelage of Aang's son, Tenzin.

[Season 2 is ] a bit confusing, heady verging on nonsensical about the spiritual stuff, occasionally frustrating, highly spotty in quality control, but still, for me, more enjoyable than 95% of other shows on TV.

Book Two had a few problems here and there, but none that cut too harshly into the overarching narrative, and the animation finished strong. Overall, this latest season was a journey well worth taking.

While this was my least favorite season of the show, there was still a number of elements that made me enjoy it as quality televsion. Among them: Varrick's whole thing, some amazing animation especially after the 2nd half of the season (love 2d), and I actually enjoyed this season's finale more than the previous season. Probably.

Some good story telling and backstory, Still much to be desired, flashy spirits made the graphics a little too childish towards the end fight, it just became a rainbow of flashes. We don’t see Korra speak to the past lives nearly enough. Then they’re just gone. The main thing that made the concept of avatar so interesting has disappeared. Felt like this season should’ve wrapped up the series not be in yhe middle. Don’t get me started of the romance part of it.
