This follow-up series to "Avatar: The Last Airbender" is set 70 years after the events of "Avatar" and follows Korra, the next Avatar after Aang, who is from the Southern Water Tribe. With earth, water and fire under her belt, Korra must master the art of airbending. Korra's quest leads her to Republic City, a virtual melting pot where benders and nonbenders live together. But she soon discovers that the land is plagued by crime and a growing antibending revolution that threatens to tear the city apart. While dealing with the dangers, Korra begins her airbending training under the tutelage of Aang's son, Tenzin. Read More Read Less

Hannah Strom Bitch Media Why are they bringing this love triangle back? It was not fun to watch the first time, and I don't think the audience wants to watch it a second time. Jan 20, 2021 Full Review Emily Guendelsberger AV Club [Season 2 is ] a bit confusing, heady verging on nonsensical about the spiritual stuff, occasionally frustrating, highly spotty in quality control, but still, for me, more enjoyable than 95% of other shows on TV. Rated: B+ Sep 22, 2018 Full Review Matt Patches New York Magazine/Vulture It's a challenge to give animated characters weight, let alone the scale of skyscraper-sized Kaiju fighters, but [Book 2] pulls it off. Sep 21, 2018 Full Review Max Nicholson IGN Movies Book Two had a few problems here and there, but none that cut too harshly into the overarching narrative, and the animation finished strong. Overall, this latest season was a journey well worth taking. Rated: 8.7/10 Sep 22, 2018 Full Review Rebecca Pahle The Mary Sue The writers spent a whole season creating this massive problem for Korra to solve, and then they pull a convenient solution... at the last minute with absolutely no buildup! Sep 22, 2018 Full Review Noel Kirkpatrick TV.com As much as Book 2 eventually managed to right itself, there was still a considerable amount of haphazardness to it, and that ultimately resulted in a frustrating, lackluster viewing experience. Jonah T Probably the weakest season of the show but we get Wan which alone makes the season worth it. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 07/11/24 Full Review Kyle E The weakest season of the show, but it's pretty solid Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/09/24 Full Review Zern G Very good release the season 5 korrasami Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/09/24 Full Review Audience Member SEGUNDA TEMPORADA CAIU MUITO. KORRA IRRITANTE. NÃO TENHO CERTEZA QUE VOU ASSITIR UMA 3ª TEMPORADA SE EXISTIR Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/06/24 Full Review F G While this was my least favorite season of the show, there was still a number of elements that made me enjoy it as quality televsion. Among them: Varrick's whole thing, some amazing animation especially after the 2nd half of the season (love 2d), and I actually enjoyed this season's finale more than the previous season. Probably. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/27/24 Full Review Oli W Some good story telling and backstory, Still much to be desired, flashy spirits made the graphics a little too childish towards the end fight, it just became a rainbow of flashes. We don’t see Korra speak to the past lives nearly enough. Then they’re just gone. The main thing that made the concept of avatar so interesting has disappeared. Felt like this season should’ve wrapped up the series not be in yhe middle. Don’t get me started of the romance part of it. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/27/24 Full Review Read all reviews
