There are a lot of characters, but it’s easy to follow their stories. The Pradeeps’s family dynamics has traces found in any family. It’s light hearted, funny, and an easy watch. Milking age-old stereotypes and tropes about the Indians as well as Americans. Hyper-unrealistic incidents making up the story and still failing to create any humor. A few average word-play attempts is the closest it gets to being funny. A family from Western India who just immigrated to the US is played by cast members with noticeable south-indian or American accents, even the character names and the sporadic references to their Indian lives don't add up. It begs the question of how they got into the country legally as shown in the first place when neither of the parents had any job nor money for investment!!! Anyone who has gone through American immigration system for a work visa knows what I'm talking about. The show is a mockery of both Americans and Indians, not in a fun, comical or satirical way but a disgusting incorrect stereotypical portrayal.
