The head of the Simpson family, Homer, is not a typical family man. A nuclear-plant employee, he does his best to lead his family but often finds that they are leading him. Other Springfield residents include the family's religious neighbor, Ned Flanders, family physician Dr. Hibbert, Moe the bartender and police chief Clancy Wiggum. Ed Bark Uncle Barky The Simpsons, in its 25th season, isn't the razor sharp, renegade cartoon series it used to be. But every season still has its moments, and the trippy May 4th Lego episode definitely is built to last. Rated: A- May 1, 2014 Full Review David Hinckley New York Daily News No matter. "Treehouse of Horrors" remains an honorable tradition, and if nothing else, it reminds fans that they don't have to wait for "South Park" to get some good old-fashioned animated mayhem. Rated: 3/5 Oct 4, 2013 Full Review Dennis Perkins AV Club I'm looking forward to it with guarded optimism and an open mind. Rated: B- Sep 30, 2013 Full Review Josh Kurp Uproxx Most Emblematic Episode of the Season As a Whole: "Homerland," because season 24 was THAT bad. Oct 26, 2017 Full Review Teresa Lopez TV Fanatic The Simpsons has always done an excellent job with parody, and tonight was no exception. Rated: 4/5 Sep 30, 2013 Full Review Adam A. Donaldson We Got This Covered On the surface, a Homeland parody seemed easy, after all just add an "R" and you get "Homerland," but maybe that's why the episode ultimately felt kind of lazy.
