Eric N I'm not generally a fan of nature series, but The Wild Ones is decidedly different from what I'd normally expect to see. For that reason, it's absolutely must-watch television. The six episodes highlight six very specific endangered species, some of which have never or rarely been seen by human eyes. The three featured guys aren't professional researchers; they're experts in logistics and photography, so they're down-to-earth and generally in awe of the creatures they're searching for and the terrain they call home. If you're looking to see tons of shots of animals, you'll be very disappointed (except maybe in the last episode), as most of the payoff shots come in the last few minutes. However, if you're up for a series of nearly impossible missions, you'll likely enjoy The Wild Ones as much as I did. Hopefully, there are more episodes to come in the future. If not, these are a great testament to the tremendous efforts of three men in promoting conservation and animal welfare. Rating: 9.5 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/20/25 Full Review Michael P. Another awesome Apple TV+ show. The three guys who are at the center of the show are great. The photography is amazing as well. These guys really care about the endangered animals they target. Just sorry that it is only six episodes. I’m certain it took an incredible amount of time to get all the content. Hopefully there will be another season. I am in love with this show in every way; the format, the cinematography, the story telling, the mission, the cast, all of it. I made an account just to leave a review. I hope there will be more seasons. I watched all the episodes in two days. Aldo, Dec, and Vianet are so lovely to follow on their adventures while they are making actual world changing impacts. I think everyone should watch this show and I think everyone would love it. I found the show relaxing and comforting despite the subject matter and stakes being high and real. I love the human emotional aspect (Dec crying over a tiger who lost their paw to a snare, Vianet's eyes filled with awe and love as he hikes through the lowland gorillas' jungle, Aldo's disgust at the human evil displayed by poachers, the list goes on); as much as I love the wildlife conservation aspect of it. Seeing them succeed through their projects in aiding conservation healed a part of my heart. I LOVE THIS SHOW! I'm going to tell everyone I know about it.
