Actor Al Taylor was known for his roles on the silver screen. Taylor's earliest roles were in film, including "The Vanishing Legion" (1931), the western "Ghost Valley" (1932) with Tom Keene and the western "Law and Lawless" (1933) with Jack Hoxie. He also appeared in the musical "Guns and Guitars" (1936) with Gene Autry, "The Lawless Nineties" (1936) with John Wayne and "Come on Cowboys" (1937) with Robert Livingston. He kept working in film throughout the thirties and the forties, starring in the Robert Allen western "Reckless Ranger" (1937), "Man From Music Mountain" (1938) and "The Lone Ranger Rides Again" (1939). He also appeared in the adventure "Zorro's Fighting Legion" (1939) with Reed Hadley and the adventure "Jungle Girl" (1941) with Frances Gifford. Taylor was most recently credited in the Bill Boyd western "Along the Sundown Trail" (2011). Taylor passed away in March 1951 at the age of 64.
