Bert Woodruff
Bert Woodruff was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Woodruff began his acting career with roles in such films as "Vive la France" (1918), "Homer Comes Home" (1920) and "Two Minutes to Go" (1921). He also appeared in "Daddy" (1923). His film career continued throughout the twenties in productions like the Milton Sills adventure "The Sea Hawk" (1924), "The Fighting Heart" (1925) and the Richard Dix historical film "The Vanishing American" (1925). He also appeared in "Driftin' Thru" (1926). In the latter part of his career, he tackled roles in "Spring Fever" (1927), the Harold Lloyd comedy "Speedy" (1928) and the romance "Laughing Sinners" (1931) with Joan Crawford. Woodruff last acted in "The Texas Ranger" (1931) with Buck Jones. Woodruff passed away in June 1934 at the age of 78.
