Brandon Flynn

Born on October 11, 1993 in Miami, Florida, Brandon Flynn began acting at the age of ten when he played Mr. Smee in a musical production of "Peter Pan." He attended the New World School of the Arts in Miami, afterwards enrolling in the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University in New Jersey, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2016. Shortly after graduating, Flynn made his television debut as Mike the Intern, a guest star role, on the politically satirical show "Brain Dead" (CBS, 2016). He went on to play the main character, Luke, in the off-Broadway production of the musical "Kid Victory" in 2017, followed by landing the starring role of Justin Foley on the critically acclaimed high school drama "13 Reasons Why" (Netflix, 2017-2020). He came out as a part of the LGBTQ community the same year. In 2018, he became a recurring cast member of the third season of "True Detective" (HBO, 2014- ). Flynn went on to make his feature film acting debut in the dark indie comedy "Looks That Kill" (2020) in 2020, and most recently starred in the historical drama miniseries "Manhunt" (2024) created by Monica Beletsky.
