Claudia Christian
Best known for her four year stint as Commander Susan Ivanov on the syndicated sci-fi series, "Babylon 5," raven-haired beauty Claudia Christian got her start with a 1984 guest-spot on "Dallas" (CBS), which she parlayed into regular roles on short-lived series like "Berringer's" and "Blacke's Magic" (both NBC), as well many guest-starring appearances in episodic TV. She made her feature debut as a exotic dancer whose body became host for an alien being in "The Hidden" (1987), was part of the fine ensemble of "Clean and Sober" (1988) and delivered a performance that made "Hexed" (1993) worth watching, playing a once overweight model whose long-ago arson resulted in 32 deaths. Christian liked everything about her four years on "Babylon 5" except the dirty dealing that led to her departure, and if it's any consolation, the series did not survive long without her. (Although she was featured in two TV-movie spin-offs that aired on TNT in 1998.) Since then, she has acted in Phillipe Mora's "Snide and Prejudice" (1997) and starred in "A Wing and a Prayer," a 1998 USA Network movie.
