Cornelia Otis Skinner was an actress who made a successful career for herself in film. Skinner worked on a variety of projects during her early entertainment career, including "Stage Door Canteen" (1943) and "Our Hearts Were Young and Gay" (1944). She went on to act in the thriller "The Uninvited" (1944) with Ray Milland and "The Girl in the Red Velvet Swing" (1955). Later in her career, Skinner acted in the Burt Lancaster drama "The Swimmer" (1968). Skinner passed away in July 1979 at the age of 80.
