Daniel Barnz
From 13 months, to 13 years, writer-cum-director Daniel Barnz achieved filmmaking success at opposing rates throughout his career. After toiling in the industry for years as a screenwriter, he made his directorial debut with the first script he ever wrote, "Phoebe in Wonderland" (2008). After his debut, he courted controversy with "Won't Back Down" (2012) and directed a comeback project for Jennifer Aniston, with his gritty film "Cake" (2014), which attracted early awards buzz when it premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival.
