Dorothy Moore was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Moore began her acting career with roles in such films as the Penny Singleton comedy "Blondie" (1938), "Girls' School" (1938) and the Penny Singleton comedy "Blondie Meets the Boss" (1939). She also appeared in the George Raft dramatic adaptation "Broadway" (1942). Her film career continued throughout the forties and the early 2000s in productions like the Guy Kibbee comedy "Scattergood Rides High" (1942) and the drama "Ladies Courageous" (1944) with Loretta Young. Moore also created music for the dramatic adaptation "Jesus' Son" (2000) with Billy Crudup.
