Douglas Campbell rose to fame as an actor, gracing the silver screen many times over the course of his Hollywood career. Campbell kickstarted his acting career in comedies like "Lost and Found" (1979) starring George Segal and "Strange Brew" (1983) with Dave Thomas and Rick Moranis. He had a part on the television special "The Prince and the Pauper" (CBS, 1957-58). He also appeared in the TV movie "The Count of Monte Cristo" (CBS, 1958-59). He kept working in film throughout the eighties and the nineties, starring in "Charlie Grant's War" (1984) with R.H. Thomson, "Sam Hughes' War" (1984) and "I Bought a Vampire Motorcycle" (1990). Campbell was most recently credited in the thriller sequel "Frank Miller's Sin City: A Dame to Kill For" (2014) with Mickey Rourke. Campbell had a number of different projects under his belt in the nineties and the early 2000s, including "The Face of Russia" (PBS, 1997-98), "Anne of Green Gables: The Continuing Story" (1999-2000) and "Millennium: A Thousand Years of History" (1999-2000). His credits also expanded to "They Nest" (USA, 1999) and "Once Upon a Christmas" (ION Television Network, 2000). Campbell passed away in October 2009 at the age of 87.
