Frank Allenby was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. In 1944, he appeared in "Emma" at the Opera House in Manchester, England. In 1937, he made his screen debut in "The Five Pound Man." Allenby began his career with a role in the Jennifer Jones drama "Madame Bovary" (1949). Allenby then began to rack up a number of film credits, including roles in the adventure "The Flame and the Arrow" (1950) with Burt Lancaster. Later in his career, Allenby acted in "Soldiers Three" (1951). Allenby passed away in May 1953 at the age of 55.
