Frankie Laine
Frankie Laine brought his musical talents to a variety of films over the course of his Hollywood career. Laine worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "Blowing Wild" with Gary Cooper (1953), "Bring Your Smile Along" (1955) and "He Laughed Last" (1956). He also contributed to "Rainbow 'Round My Shoulder" (1952), "Strange Lady in Town" (1955) and "The Frankie Laine Show" (1953-54). In the fifties and the seventies, Laine devoted his time to various credits, such as "Meet Me in Las Vegas" (1956), "3:10 to Yuma" (1957) starring Glenn Ford and "Gunfight at the O.K. Corral" (1957) starring Burt Lancaster. He also worked on "All This and World War II" with Martin J Machat (1976). Laine's music was also featured in "Jennifer Eight" (1992) with Andy Garcia and the Eric Bana crime drama "Chopper" (2001). Laine's music was most recently featured in "Hollywoodland" (2006). Throughout His career, Laine's music appeared on TV shows like "The Misadventures of Sheriff Lobo" (NBC, 1979-1980). In addition to his music, Laine also appeared on-screen in "Miss Patti Page: The Singing Rage" (PBS, 1998-99). Laine was married to Nan Grey. Laine passed away in February 2007 at the age of 94.
