Gene Morgan
Gene Morgan worked in a variety of genres and built up a diverse and reputable career. Morgan's earliest roles were in film, including "Anybody's Blonde" (1931), "Tangled Destinies" (1932) and the drama "Night World" (1932) with Lew Ayres. He also appeared in the Irene Dunne drama "Back Street" (1932), "Blonde Venus" (1932) and "Song of the Eagle" (1933). His film career continued throughout the thirties in productions like the comedy "Alibi Ike" (1935) with Joe E Brown, "If You Could Only Cook" (1935) and "Bright Lights" (1935) with Joe E Brown. Toward the end of his career, he continued to act in the Gary Cooper comedy "Mr. Deeds Goes to Town" (1936), "Panic on the Air" (1936) and the musical "The Music Goes 'Round" (1936) with Harry Richman. He also appeared in the dramatic adaptation "Make Way For Tomorrow" (1937) with Victor Moore and "Counsel for Crime" (1937). Morgan last acted in "Who Killed Gail Preston?" (1938).
