Gigi Rice
An attractive blonde player of American TV, usually in comedy or terror melodramas, Gigi Rice got her first break while attending the Burt Reynolds Theatre Institute. Reynolds subsequently cast her in two installments of his ABC series, "B.L. Stryker" Rice met her husband, actor Ted McGinley, when he appeared at Reynolds' theater and the couple settled in L.A. after their marriage. Among her first credits after heading West was the ABC TV-movie "Columbo Cries Wolf" (1990). From 1991-93, she played Samantha Glick, the neighbor, in the syndicated sitcom "Harry and the Hendersons" and from 1992-93 was Lavonne Overton, would-be country warbler, in the short-lived ABC Delta Burke series, "Delta." After the quick cancellation of the latter, she was slotted as Carly, the streetwalker who worked out of the bus station, on "The John Larroquette Show" (NBC, 1993-96).
