Throughout his entertainment career as an accomplished actor, Guy Deghy graced the silver screen many times. Deghy's earliest roles were in film, including the comedy "The Constant Husband" (1955) with Rex Harrison, "The Mouse That Roared" (1959) featuring Peter Sellers and "Surprise Package" (1960) with Yul Brynner. He also appeared in "Sammy Going South" (1963) and the Margaret Rutherford adaptation sequel "The Mouse on the Moon" (1963). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the sixties and the seventies, appearing in "The Yellow Rolls-Royce" (1964), "Before Winter Comes" (1968) and the comedy "Duffy" (1968) with James Coburn. He also appeared in the Anjelica Huston dramatic adaptation "A Walk With Love and Death" (1969) and the spy picture "The Kremlin Letter" (1970) with Richard Boone. Nearing the end of his career, he continued to act in the spy thriller "The Looking Glass War" (1970) with Christopher Jones, the action picture "March Or Die" (1977) with Gene Hackman and the Anthony Quinn dramatic biopic "The Greek Tycoon" (1978). He also appeared in "Success Is the Best Revenge" (1984). He also had a part in the TV miniseries "Wallenberg: A Hero's Story" (1984-85). Deghy more recently appeared in "Pride and Extreme Prejudice" (USA, 1989-1990). Deghy passed away in February 1992 at the age of 80.
