Ilse Steppat was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. In 1947, she made her film debut in "Ehe Im Schatten" ("Marriage In The Shadow"). In 1967, she appeared in "Die Blaue Hand" ("The Blue Hand") alongside Klaus Kinski. Steppat began her career with a role in the Horst Buchholz comedy "The Confessions of the Swindler Felix Krull" (1957). Steppat made film her next project, appearing in the dramatic adaptation "The Eighth Day of the Week" (1958) with Sonja Ziemann. Later in her career, Steppat acted in the George Lazenby action movie "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" (1969). Steppat's husband was Max Nosseck. Steppat passed away in December 1969 at the age of 52.
