Jill Adams
Jill Adams was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Adams's career beginnings included film roles in "The Young Lovers" (1954) with Odile Versois, the Dirk Bogarde comedy sequel "Doctor at Sea" (1955) and "The Constant Husband" (1955) with Rex Harrison. Adams began to focus on film after appearing in the John Gregson comedy "Value For Money" (1955), the Richard Attenborough comedy "Private's Progress" (1956) and the George Cole comedy adaptation "The Green Man" (1956). She also appeared in "Brothers in Law" (1957), the comedy "Carry on Constable" (1961) with Sidney James and "Promise Her Anything" (1966). Later in her career, Adams appeared on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" (ABC, 1986-2011).
