Joe Morrison found stardom not just as a professional football player, but also as an entertainer. Morrison marked his early career with roles in "The Old-Fashioned Way" (1934), the dramatic sports film "Safe at Home" (1962) with Mickey Mantle and "Stanley, The Ugly Duckling" (ABC, 1981-82). Morrison was also credited in "Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future" "Masters of the Universe" (1987) starring Dolph Lundgren and "Monster in My Pocket" (ABC, 1992-93). He also worked on "What-A-Mess" (ABC, 1995-96) and the Naomi Watts and David Dorfman box office smash "The Ring" (2002). Morrison was most recently credited in "Charlie Wilson's War" (2007) with Tom Hanks. Morrison passed away in March 1972 at the age of 64.
