Kevin J. Messick

Kevin Messick is an Academy Award- and Emmy-nominated producer and a partner in Adam McKay's Hyperobject Industries. Messick was nominated for a PGA Award for Outstanding Producer of Theatrical Motion Picture for "Vice" (2018) starring Christian Bale opposite Amy Adams, Steve Carrell and Sam Rockwell. The feature film received eight Academy Award, six BAFTA and six Golden Globe nominations. A recent TV venture is as executive producer of HBO's Golden Globe-winning series "Succession" created by Jesse Armstrong. In 2015, Messick served as an executive producer on McKay's "The Big Short," which went on to receive Academy Award, BAFTA, Golden Globe nominations for Best Picture and won the 2016 PGA for Best Picture and won Best Adapted Screenplay at the Academy Awards, BAFTA and WGA. Prior to joining Hyperobject Industries with McKay, Messick was a producer at Gary Sanchez Productions where he produced/executive produced alongside McKay and Will Ferrell. His credits there include "The Other Guys" (Sony), "Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters (Paramount), "Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues (Paramount), "Tammy" (New Line), "Get Hard" (Warner Bros), "The Boss (Universal), "Casa de mi Padre," "Daddy's Home" and "Daddy's Home 2" (Paramount) and "Ibiza" (Netflix.)
