Lee Kohlmar was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Kohlmar's early acting career consisted of roles in various films, such as "Orphans of the Storm" (1922) with Lillian Gish, "Caught Short" (1930) and "Children of Pleasure" (1930). He also appeared in the William Powell comedy "Jewel Robbery" (1932). His film career continued throughout the thirties in productions like "The Strange Case of Clara Deane" (1932), the Joe E Brown comedic adaptation "The Tenderfoot" (1932) and "I Love That Man" (1933). Toward the end of his career, he continued to act in the Mae West dramatic adaptation "She Done Him Wrong" (1933), the adventure sequel "Son of Kong" (1933) with Robert Armstrong and the Katharine Hepburn drama "Break of Hearts" (1935). Kohlmar last acted in the mystery "Death From a Distance" (1935) with Russell Hopton. Kohlmar passed away in May 1946 at the age of 73.
