Malcolm McLaren brought his musical talents to a variety of films over the course of his Hollywood career. McLaren's acting career began mostly with his roles in various films, such as "The Great Rock 'n' Roll Swindle" (1979) and "Punk" (1995) with Elvis Costello. McLaren also contributed music to "The Five Heartbeats" (1991) with Robert Townsend, "Butterfly: The European Myth of the Oriental Woman" (1992-93) and "The Cutting Edge" (1992). In the nineties and the early 2000s, McLaren devoted his time to various credits, such as "Catwalk" (1996), "The Odyssey" (1996-97) and "Out of the Present" (1997). He also worked on "The Fine Art of Separating People From Their Money" "The Filth and the Fury" with Johnny Rotten (2000) and "Fashion Victim: The Killing of Gianni Versace" (Cinemax, 2001-02). McLaren's music was most recently featured in the Leonardo DiCaprio hit crime drama "The Wolf of Wall Street" (2013). McLaren had a number of different projects under his belt in the early 2000s and the 2010s, including "The Truth About Charlie" with Mark Wahlberg (2002), "Kill Bill Vol. 2" (2004) starring Uma Thurman and "Fast Food Nation" with Catalina Sandino Moreno (2006). His credits also expanded to "Marie Antoinette" (2006) starring Kirsten Dunst, "Who Killed Nancy?" (2010) and "London - The Modern Babylon" (2012) starring Michael Gambon. McLaren passed away in April 2010 at the age of 64.
