      Maris Wrixon was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Wrixon began her acting career with roles in such films as the action movie "The Adventures of Jane Arden" (1939) with Rosella Towne, "British Intelligence" (1940) and "The Ape" (1940). She also appeared in the George Brent dramatic adaptation "The Man Who Talked Too Much" (1940) and "A Shot in the Dark" (1941). She continued to act in productions like "Bullets For O'Hara" (1941), "Footsteps in the Dark" (1941) and "Million Dollar Baby" (1941) with Priscilla Lane. She also appeared in the musical "Sunset in Wyoming" (1941) with Gene Autry and "The Case of the Black Parrot" (1941). During the latter part of her career, she tackled roles in "Waterfront" (1944), "Women in Bondage" (1944) with Gail Patrick and "Black Market Babies" (1945). She also appeared in the romance "This Love of Ours" (1945) with Merle Oberon and "White Pongo" (1945). Wrixon more recently acted in the Robert Lowery crime flick "Highway 13" (1949).
