Martin Miller
Actor Martin Miller was known for his roles on the silver screen. Miller began his acting career appearing in various films, such as the comedic adaptation "Where's Charley?" (1952) with Ray Bolger, the Akim Tamiroff comedy "You Know What Sailors Are" (1954) and the John Mills comedy "The Baby and the Battleship" (1956). He also appeared in the comedy adaptation "To Dorothy a Son" (1956) with Shelley Winters, the comedy "An Alligator Named Daisy" (1957) with Donald Sinden and "Expresso Bongo" (1959). He kept working in film throughout the fifties and the sixties, starring in "Libel" (1959) starring Dirk Bogardethe dramatic adaptation "Exodus" (1960) with Paul Newman and the crime flick "Peeping Tom" (1960) with Karlheinz Böhm. He also appeared in the Herbert Lom thrilling adaptation "The Phantom of the Opera" (1962), the Charlton Heston historical drama "55 Days at Peking" (1963) and the drama "Children of the D*mned" (1963) with Ian Hendry. Miller was most recently credited in the Antony Edridge drama "The Big Swap" (1997). Miller continued to exercise his talent in the sixties through the nineties, taking on a mix of projects like "The V.I.P.s" with Elizabeth Taylor (1963), "The Pink Panther" (1964) starring Peter Sellers and "The Yellow Rolls-Royce" (1964) starring Rex Harrison. His credits also expanded to "Tschechow in Meinem Leben" (1984), "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure" with Keanu Reeves (1989) and "1998 Goodwill Games" (CBS, 1997-98). Miller passed away in August 1969 at the age of 70.
