Mike Ockrent
As a well-versed British entertainer, Mike Ockrent had a diverse career in the entertainment industry. Ockrent's career began with his work directing "Mrs. Capper's Birthday" (1986-87) and "Dancin' Thru the Dark" (1990). Ockrent had a diverse career throughout the nineties and the early 2000s, including "Money For Nothing," "The Gershwins' "Crazy For You"" (PBS, 1999-2000) and "Rock Star" (2001) starring Mark Wahlberg. Toward the end of his career, Ockrent worked on "A Christmas Carol: The Musical" (2004-05). Ockrent was married to Susan Carpenter and had two children. Mike Ockrent passed away in December 1999 at the age of 53.
