Peter Gordon was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Gordon marked his early career with roles in the horror film "The Black Sleep" (1956) with Basil Rathbone, the Dirk Bogarde drama "A Bridge Too Far" (1977) and "Shaka Zulu" (1986-87). Later, Gordon acted in the dramatic adaptation "Oranges Are Not the Only Fruit" (1990) with Geraldine McEwan, the dramatic period piece "Chasing the Deer" (1994) with Brian Blessed and "Jacob" (TNT, 1994-95). More recently, Gordon appeared in "Summer in the Suburbs" (BBC, 2000-01).
