Rebecca Benson

Rebecca Benson was a Scottish actress best known to viewers as Talla Tarly on "Game of Thrones" (HBO, 2011-). Born in Edinburgh, Benson started out in theater, most notably appearing as Eli in a National Theatre of Scotland production of the Swedish vampire film "Let the Right One In" (2008). Benson made her television debut in 2013 on the long-running British crime drama "Vera" (ITV, 2011-), playing the role of Ruthie Culvert. 2014 proved to be a big year for Benson, as she made her feature film debut alongside Michael Fassbender in a particularly moody and violent take on "Macbeth" (2014), while also appearing on another acclaimed British crime drama, "Shetland" (BBC One, 2013-). Benson finally broke through in 2016, appearing on the juggernaut fantasy series "Game of Thrones" (HBO, 2011-) as Samwell Tarly's sister, Talla. That same year Benson took on a supporting role as Nurse to Queen Mary in the acclaimed historical series, "The Crown" (Netflix, 2016-).
