Richard Bailey
Richard Bailey worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. Bailey's earliest roles were in film, including the Frank Albertson drama "City of Silent Men" (1942), the Richard Arlen dramatic comedy "That's My Baby" (1944) and the fantasy romance "A Night in Paradise" (1946) with Merle Oberon. He also appeared in "Young Widow" (1946) with Jane Russell, the western "Ambush" (1949) with Robert Taylor and the Burt Lancaster action movie "The Train" (1965). In the eighties and the nineties, Bailey devoted his time to various credits, such as "Return to Eden" (1984-85), "Country Music Hall of Fame 25" (CBS, 1991-92) and "A Country Music Celebration" (CBS, 1992-93). He also worked on "The 26th Annual Country Music Association Awards" (CBS, 1992-93), "Christmas Time With Eddy Arnold" (The Nashville Network, 1997-98) and "Roger Miller Remembered" (The Nashville Network, 1997-98). In the nineties and the early 2000s, Bailey lent his talents to projects like "Workin' Man: A Tribute to Merle Haggard" (The Nashville Network, 1997-98), "Racin' and Rockin': Neal McCoy and Tracy Byrd Celebrate 50 Years of NASCAR" (The Nashville Network, 1998-99) and "The George Jones Show" (The Nashville Network, 1998-99). His credits also expanded to "4th Annual TNN Country Dance Invitational" (The Nashville Network, 1999-2000), "Wildhorse Fifth Anniversary Celebration Starring Mark Chestnutt" (The Nashville Network, 1999-2000) and "Psycho Beach Party" with Lauren Ambrose (2000). Most recently, Bailey appeared on "Brando" (Turner Classic Movies, 2006-07).
