Rory Mallinson
Rory Mallinson was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Mallinson kickstarted his acting career in various films such as "Pride of the Marines" (1945) with John Garfield, the Barbara Stanwyck thriller "Cry Wolf" (1947) and "Dark Passage" (1947). He also appeared in the Ann Sheridan drama "Nora Prentiss" (1947), "Berlin Express" (1948) and "Blonde Ice" (1948). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the forties, appearing in the adventure "Docks of New Orleans" (1948) with Roland Winters, "For You I Die" (1948) and "I Wouldn't Be in Your Shoes" (1948). He also appeared in "Open Secret" (1948), the western "Prince of the Plains" (1949) with Monte Hale and the Lloyd Bridges crime picture "Trapped" (1949). Toward the end of his career, he continued to act in "Fingerprints Don't Lie" (1951), "Three Desperate Men" (1951) with Preston Foster and "Blackhawk" (1952). He also appeared in the western "Montana Belle" (1952) with Jane Russell, the Edward G Robinson crime feature "A Bullet For Joey" (1955) and the Sterling Hayden western "Shotgun" (1955). Mallinson more recently acted in the action flick "Westbound" (1959) with Randolph Scott. Mallinson passed away in March 1976 at the age of 63.
