Ryan Sheckler
Often called the Bobby Fischer of skateboarding, Ryan Sheckler leaped from obscurity to stardom before he even started high school. At the age of 13, the Southern California native became the youngest skater to win a professional competition at the Slam City Jam in Vancouver, Canada. He won multiple medals at the largest extreme sports competitions throughout his career, including the X Games, the Vans Triple Crown and Gravity Games. Sheckler gained mainstream recognition after starring in his own reality series, "Life of Ryan" (MTV, 2007-09), which documented the happy-go-lucky teen's life at home and with friends. He then made his big screen debut in "Tooth Fairy" (2009), where he co-starred with Dwayne Johnson - another successful athlete-turned-actor - which proved that Sheckler was on his way to becoming as much of a superstar onscreen as he was on four wheels.
