Sean Scanlan was an actor who starred in many drama films. Scanlan began his career with roles in "A Sense of Freedom" (1985), "The Return of Sherlock Holmes, Series I" (PBS, 1986) and "Prisoner of Honor" (HBO, 1991-92). He then acted in the Jack Shepherd drama "Blue Black Permanent" (1993), "A Mind to Murder" (PBS, 1995-96) and "The Ebb-Tide" (1997-98). He also appeared in the thriller "The Near Room" (1997) with Adrian Dunbar and the dramatic adaptation "My Life So Far" (1999) with Colin Firth. More recently, Scanlan acted in the Leonora Lim adventurous drama "The Taiwan Oyster" (2013).
