Thomas Wagner worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. Wagner started his acting career landing roles in such films as the comedy "Near Dark" (1987) with Adrian Pasdar, "The Drifter" (1988) and the action picture "Action Jackson" (1988) with Carl Weathers. He also appeared in the Natasha Richardson biopic drama "Patty Hearst" (1988), "Alien Nation" (1988) with James Caan and the Arnold Schwarzenegger box office smash comedy "Twins" (1988). In the nineties, he acted in "Chicago Hope" (CBS, 1994-2000) and "The Watcher" (UPN, 1994-95). More recently, he earned a role in the Whoopi Goldberg dramatic adaptation "The Associate" (1996). Wagner had a number of different projects under his belt in the early 2000s, including "Bob Marley: Rebel Music" (PBS, 2000-01), "Clint Eastwood: Out of the Shadows" (PBS, 2000-01) and "Lucille Ball: Finding Lucy" (CBS, 2000-01). His credits also expanded to "Mailer on Mailer" (PBS, 2000-01) and "On Cukor" (PBS, 2000-01). Most recently, Wagner appeared on "You Must Remember This: The Warner Bros. Story" (2008-09).
