      William Leslie was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Leslie began his acting career appearing in various films, such as "Forever Female" (1953), "Johnny Dark" (1954) and the Jane Wyman dramatic adaptation "Magnificent Obsession" (1954). He also appeared in the Frankie Laine musical "Bring Your Smile Along" (1955), the dramatic adaptation "Queen Bee" (1955) with Joan Crawford and "The Long Gray Line" (1955). His film career continued throughout the fifties in productions like the Ronald Reagan dramatic adaptation "Hellcats of the Navy" (1957), the Jack Lemmon comedy adaptation "Operation Mad Ball" (1957) and the Mickey Rooney comedic drama "Andy Hardy Comes Home" (1958). He also appeared in the adaptation "Buchanan Rides Alone" (1958) with Randolph Scott, "Cowboy" (1958) with Glenn Ford and "The Last Hurrah" (1958) with Spencer Tracy. During the latter part of his career, he tackled roles in the crime picture "The Lineup" (1958) with Eli Wallach, the John Wayne action movie "The Horse Soldiers" (1959) and the adaptation "Up Periscope" (1959) with James Garner. He also appeared in the crime feature "The Couch" (1962) with William Kuehl. Most recently, Leslie acted in "Daylight Robbery" (2011) with Geoff Bell.
