Audience Member this is one of th greastest movies ever i love it and i am gunna own soon Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Abner is a stupid hillbilly, but girls like him because he's cute. I suppose they have to take what they can get, but you don't have to take this movie, it's not worth watching. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Een ster voor Mammy & Pappy Yokum. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review kevin w the tradition of using hokum humor to make valid social points goes back a long way and al capp's "li'l abner" was a formidable addition, especially for a newspaper comic strip, to that interesting form. unfortunately li'l of capp's sarcasm and wit makes it to this movie version (that never happens in the movies!). tho granville owen is a dead ringer for al capp's creation (and i don't know if that's a good or bad thing), the throwaway hollywood treatment is more like a valentine than real love. buster keaton's here too. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member love it love it love- dancing is amazing!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member Loved watching it as a kid and still find it amusing. Though it may not be for some people.
