Nicholas Bell IONCINEMA.com Those familiar with the gory side of Fulci won't be surprised at the audacious level of repulsive visuals, but this doesn't earn the horror film equivalent of Fellini's 8 1/2, a distinction it is often afforded. Rated: 1.5/5 Sep 30, 2020 Full Review Martin Unsworth Starburst It has got enough going for it to merit interest, and shouldn't be overlooked if you have a penchant for ocular trauma. Rated: 7/10 Mar 26, 2018 Full Review Scott Weinberg FEARnet More of a worthwhile curiosity than anything resembling one of Fulci's best films. Rated: 3/5 Sep 21, 2009 Full Review Fernando F. Croce CinePassion Fulci's splatter meta-comedy is founded equally on sardonic censor-baiting and the true confessions of a conflicted auteur Aug 26, 2009 Full Review Read all reviews

Tyler B There's a clear point where your interest dwindles. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 10/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Fulci is a character in his own film. A goofy fun Fulci "clip show" - as it were Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member A misfire. A sort of interesting misfire but a misfire for sure. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member This is Lucio Fulci film about Lucio Fulci losing his mind. Definitely worth checking out. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member Fulci plays himself in this film that recycles old clips and seems to say "I'm getting to old for this shit." After decades of making gialli, Fulci's grip on reality fades and he begins to experience hallucinations. These "hallucinations" are a convenient way to reuse some of his favorite bits from his previous movies. The name of his boat is so appropriate. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member A great idea with a poor execution. The problem with this movie is the use of way too many clips from other movies (some not even made by Lucio Fulci). I expected some fun scenes where Fulci is reenacting scenes from his movie, but instead we get him reacting to things off camera while the movie cuts to scenes from other movies. It's actually very amateurish and is almost like something children do with a family camera by inter splicing stuff they shoot with movies they watch. Mostly just a disappointing movie.
