[Director Saville has] given LaPaglia a role so good that it conjures up comparisons with his terrific work in Ray Lawrence's Lantana 15 years ago. Go to Full Review

We used to make more films like this, with a brain and a heart. Saville shows that we still can. Go to Full Review

It's difficult to decide just what Saville is aiming to achieve with these characters. Go to Full Review

A Month Of Sundays is a little bit of a letdown for all the Matthew Saville fans out there. Slow and unremarkable this is a film that I doubt that I will revisit. Go to Full Review

07/10/2022 Feel good movie. Great to see John Clark again. AP is just laid back and cruises through the film. See more 1 10/11/2021 Ok. So this is not what I would call a great film. It is a soft comedy padding real issues of death, dementia and broken relationships. So it's a poignant film that is easy to watch but still leaves an indelible mark. Worth watching for so many people. However, once there, it will not be budged". So very Australian in so many ways. I loved it. Highly recommended to movie lovers who are willing to sit with quiet, still moments while waiting for the humanity to reveal itself. See more greg r @itsgregsworld 03/03/2017 A well thought out drama about ordinary people and life, death, and life after death. See more 03/03/2017 A Month of Sundays I felt kinda like I was watching a novel that traveled very slowly and you ended up nowhere. If there is a book read it instead it would be better. Anthony Lapaglia has been in better flicks this I felt was a chance for him to do a small Aussie flick. All about a man's journey to finding himself and helping others coming to terms that his job is not his entire life. This is not my cup of tea. John Clarke plays in this as well he is the guy that always does the political skit and plays ministers and pokes fun at them. See more Read all reviews
