Prospect Film R My daughter loves Corgies and I nailed the "more candy for me" line her boss gave before she said it. Yahtzee!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/25/23 Full Review Joshua S A Very Corgi Christmas: a review. So I've been off with Covid this week, so I took one for the team and watched this movie on W channel so now all you guys can talk about the hype without having to watch it. First part: in their kingdom everyone has an English accent, so this kingdom (like all the Christmas worlds) was colonized by England probably. I can't imagine what the war for independence in looked like in the Christmas kingdom, but it must have been recent, and brutal (as the English are). Why you ask? Because first, the king is dead, and it wasn't super recent, and Two, there are a large number of orphans that need charity (that only a prince of the Christmas kingdom can provide). The social problems seem staggering. Second Part: the out of touch royals live in a palace away from the social problems and orphans with their Ill behaved corgi. The corgi goes viral on what must be the only allowed website in this authoritarian regime when it wrecks a meal. The orphans really enjoy seeing a dog eat food off the floor while they are living hand to mouth in their orphanages. Third part: An American dog trainer, who happens to be single and available, flies to Christmas land castle (where even the room the prince hasn't been in for ‘ages' is fully decorated for Christmas) to train the corgi from hell. Honestly at this point I'm kinda zoning out guys, so I'll just say ‘hijinks ensue'. I get the idea the corgi is famous now because of the government monopoly on media, so the people want to see the old queen mother give her Christmas speech with the corgi. Alright this is getting long winded: the spunky single American dog trainer and prince end up together. The dog nails the speech (and even if he didn't, when you have government controlled media who will say otherwise) and they have an amazing Christmas. In the sequel, they have their first Christmas baby, as does the corgi because….puppies. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/07/22 Full Review Audience Member Typical hallmark movie. The corgi makes it good Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 11/27/22 Full Review Audience Member This is a great movie. I enjoyed the direct line delivery and complete lack of plotholes. Very interesting subplot with the grandparents. The child is a great role model and the mother seemed very well adjusted. The romantic chemistry was amazingly compelling, and mirrored my parent's love story exactly! Finally, the corgi's bladder control was stunning. Overall, a must-see for the holiday season. Five stars! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
